Morrocan Hotel

Superbrand resort

2018
Studio Project
Category: Spatial, Hospitality

In this project, we were required to learn the standard of Five-star hotel suite room and explore different designs of iconic furniture bands for furnishing with a stylish and consistent aesthetics.

Inspired by traditional Moroccan doorways and patterns, this resort is a modern take on the “Moroccan”.

Through arched doorways, on balconies, and huge windows, this resort offers a comfortable environment in which to stay and relax. Details from the brass and wood rimmed doorways to carved wooden patterned doors and metal-forged lighting, it truly expresses the Moroccan style.

The fresh tones and modern furniture creates a space that feels contemporary and personal but also feels connected to the natural atmosphere from the sea.

Plan View

The scheme shows mostly white in the foyer, living room, bedroom, balcony and black in the bathroom with splashes of a local colour – Teal. Together with simple textures and traditional patterns, this tonal selection is comfortable to the eye with nooks that pique interest.
